BarcelonaSpanish league runners-up, Barcelona are preparing for the next season. Among the players that they are interested in some stars are mentioned. Barca already made an offer for Victor Sada from Akasvayu Girona. The offer wasn't good enough and it was rejected by Akasvayu. Another improved offer should come shortly.

On of the hottest names in the market is Sarunas Jasikevicius. Lithuanian point guard is likely to leave Panathinaikos despite the fact that Zeljko Obradovic has different opinion. Saras already played for Barcelona and helped them win Euroleague in 2003. Barcelona is his favourite city as he has declared it many times. Barcas' General Manager, Joan Creus called Saras to clarify what is the real situation of his contract with Panathinaikos.

It won't be easy to get Saras for Barcelona. His former club Maccabi is also very interested in the player. Since Jasikevicius left the Yellows for Indiana Pacers, there are rumours about the return of the Golden Boy to Israel. Though Maccabi might be unable to offer the contract that is wanted by Saras.

Another rumour involves Rimantas Kaukenas. Montepaschi Siena Lithuanian shooting guard could be swapped with Roko-Leni Ukic who spent a season on loan at Lottomatica Roma. This is not very likely to happen but there are some reasons why this deal could go through. Ukic is not considered good enough for Barca. Making a swap deal would reduce the cost of Rimantas Kaukenas who is that type of player which is needed for the club.

Bilbao's Marcelinho is attracting the interest of Real Madrid, Joventut, Unicaja, TAU Ceramica and Barcelona. 25-year-old Brazilian who also holds Italian passport averaged 14.6 points and 3.9 assists per game in the strongest domestic league in Europe. Although the president of Bilbao said that Marcelinho will play for wither Bilbao or Joventut next season and that there are no other options.
