The San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich was asked for some insight into the development of Malaki Branham, who has scored 15+ points in seven of his last eight games.
“He’s going to be a heck of a player,” Popovich said. “He’s got a great pace about him. He shoots the ball well, and he’s going to be able to shoot it even better as he works on it. … He’s progressed fantastically and physicality, understanding how the game is played at this level, growing in confidence, and understanding that defense has to become more important. So he’s been wonderful.”
