Maccabi Tel-Aviv announced their new coach. Effi Birenboim will be leading Israeli giants next season. He was coaching Bnei Hasharon this year, a team who lost by a single point against Maccabi in Israeli semi-finals. Birenboim doesn't have any experience of European top level competition. 54-year-old has coached a few teams in Isreal.
Effi Birenboim will be Maccabi's 4th coach in three years. Neven Spahija, Oded Katash and Zvika Sherf worked before him.
