Orlando Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley praised Wendell Carter Jr.’s skillset and leadership qualities after their most recent 126-114 overtime home win vs. the Miami Heat (27 points/11 rebounds/2 assists/1 steal/12-17 FG/2-7 3-PT/1-2 FT).

“He doesn’t know how good he is, that’s the crazy part. This young man is special. You talk about his defensive presence, his offensive presence, his toughness, the voice and the resiliency he brings to that locker room, he’s just a warrior. There’s only a few guys that can do what he does, guard pick & rolls with the big, sit down and guard a big one-on-one, switch a pick & roll with a guard, and then get possessions where he’s making shots and rolling to the rim and finishing. Those are plays where he sacrifices, and that’s how these guys feel about him.”
