Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kenrich Williams underwent a successful surgery on Tuesday to repair the scapholunate ligament in his left wrist, the team announced. As such, he is set to miss the remainder of the 2022-23 season.

The Thunder already announced last week that the wingman will require the said surgery, which was initially believed to be a sprain in his wrist.

Williams averaged 8.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists through 53 games this season. He also shot a consistent 51.7 percent from the field.

The 28-year-old veteran will remain under contract with OKC for the next few seasons after inking a four-year, $27.2 million deal last offseason.
