Luke Kennard visited Los Angeles for the first time since the trade deadline. The 26-year-old shooting guard who was with the Clippers for two and a half years was traded to the Grizzlies in February.
During the game between the Clipper and Grizzlies he re-united with his former coach Tyronn Lue, who talked about meeting one of his favorite players.
“Just at the end. Just [gave him] a big hug because I miss him,” Lue said after the game, per ClutchPoints. “That’s one of my favorite guys, and so just gave him a big hug, told him I missed him, and he was good to see me as well.”
Kennard finished the game against his former team with 15 points – the highest since joining Memphis.
