In the most hilarious way possible, Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t fail to impress as well as amuse the entire NBA world.

On Sunday, with victory already on their hands against the Washington Wizards, Antetokounmpo still went coast-to-coast, appeared still looking to score and break the NBA’s unwritten code.

But contrary to it, Giannis hurled a shot attempt, hitting the backboard, and grabbed the rebound of his own – giving himself a unique triple-double.

22 points, 13 assists, and 10 boards to highlight the 117-111 Milwaukee Bucks win.

Giannis’ play caught the entire attention of the league’s social media landscape, drawing laughs and entertaining reactions.

And in the postgame, the Greek superstar detailed what went in his mind to secure the great stat line in a funny way.

“I know I was thinking about scoring the ball, but I feel like, you know, in those situations it’s best to kind of keep the ball,” he said.

“But yeah, just try to play the game smart and kind of stole one,” Giannis continued, ending the interview with a wink using his left eye.

With the win, the Bucks regained the sole spot of the East’s top seed with a 46-18 record.
