When the Mavericks traded for Kyrie Irving some raised doubts whether he can co-exist with ball-dominant Luka Doncic.

According to Tim MacMahon and Brian Windhorst of ESPN, the Slovenian superstar actually was pushing Dallas to acquire another superstar alongside him.

Not only him, but also head coach Jason Kidd wanted to see Irving on the Mavs roster.

So far Doncic and Irving have played four games, winning two of them.
