The Timberwolves were defeated by the Wizards (106-114) after a very poor fourth quarter which Minnesota lost 19-38.

Mike Conley, who joined the Wolves via a trade from the Jazz before the trade deadline, said after the game that his team cannot give up plays and lose concentration.

“We can’t throw it off a guy’s knee or give up a layup, turn it over right back and give up another layup. We can’t afford to do that,” Conley said, per Jon Krawczynski. “We’ve all gotta be thinking that as a whole group. For me to come in here, I just gotta be very, very attentive towards that.”
