Stanley Johnson was waived by the Spurs on Sunday after spending two months with the team. The 26-year-old forward appeared in 30 games 5.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 15.6 minutes per game.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the player is drawing interest from contending teams and is expected to be picked up by one of them at some point.

“I do think there is enough interest in him among the contending teams and playoff contenders that he should be getting picked up at some point this season,” Charania said on FanDuel TV.
