Anadolu Efes Istanbul has bolstered their roster by securing former NBA player Stanley Johnson, marking his first venture into European basketball after eight seasons in the NBA.

The 28-year-old forward brings a wealth of experience to Anadolu Efes. He was originally drafted eighth overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 2015 NBA Draft and has since played for several NBA teams, including the Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Lakers, and San Antonio Spurs.

Throughout his NBA career spanning 449 games, Johnson averaged 6.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.

Last season, Johnson showcased his skills with the Stockton Kings in the G-League, where he averaged 14.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game on an impressive 40.8% shooting from beyond the arc.

A seasoned international competitor, Johnson has represented Team USA on multiple occasions, including winning the gold medal at the U17 World Championship in 2012.
