The Clippers part ways with three players before the trade deadline. Namely, John Wall, Reggie Jackson and Luke Kennard.

Paul George says that it is tough every year to see teammates to go to other teams. Speaking specifically about the players that were traded this year, the superstar said that Jackson was one of the closest guys in the NBA to him.

He expressed hope that all three players will be thrive on wherever they play next.

“It’s always tough to go through trade deadlines any time, every year, it’s tough,” George said, per Tomer Azarly. “Obviously Reggie was one of the closest guys in the league to me. He’s one of my best friends in the league. So it’s sad to see him go.

“Same for Luke. A great guy, great teammate, John. You feel for those guys. But hopefully they go to another situation where they can shine and thrive.

“But talk about Reggie and Luke who have been here the longest. They’re going to mean something within this group. We accomplished something that this franshise had never done. So you remember the good times that those guys were here.”
