France got precious revenge for their loss to Spain in the 2013 Eurobasket Women final by beating them 63-58 in the semi-finals in Budapest.

And the win was thoroughly deserved as France finished well at the hoop and made their inside presence count by shooting 54 percent in the paint. Celine Dumerc drained a go-ahead triple with just over 90 seconds remaining that handed her side the cushion they needed to see out a memorable victory.

An impressive double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds by Sandrine Gruda was instrumental in helping France to victory.

Spain were led by Alba Torrens’ 13 points as they concede their first game of Eurobasket Women 2015.

Serbia advance to their first ever Eurobasket Women final after they held on to edge Belarus 74-72.

Serbia really got their noses in front and looked the more likely winners thanks to the way they turned up the defensive heat in the last quarter which harvested plenty of turnovers. However they also had to survive a last gasp effort from Yelena Leuchanka who almost forced overtime and a second chance for Belarus.

Ana Dabovic continued her hot streak from the quarter-finals with 21 points for Serbia.
