The Lakers have officially made their first trade this season by trading or Rui Hachimura and sending Kendrick Nunn to the Wizards.
NBA legend Magic Johnson reacted to the news on Twitter. According to him, the Japanese international will help the Lakers on both ends of the floor.
“Laker Nation, Rui Hachimura is going to really help the Lakers on both ends of the court. He’s averaging 13 points and his length and size will help us on the defensive end!” the five-time NBA champion tweeted.
This season Hachimura, who was unhappy with his role in Washington, is averaging 13 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 24.3 minutes per game.
