The Lakers lost for the third time in a row by falling against the 76ers (112-113). Russell Westbrook had the chance to put Los Angeles in front as he drove to the basket attempting a layup with 3 second on the clock, but was denied by Georges Niang.

Despite the failure to convert the shot, Lakers head coach Darvin Ham was happy with the play and would take it any time.

“Down one, you got one of our best playmakers to the rim… I’ll take that scenario everyday of the week and twice on Sunday we just have to finish the play,” Ham said postgame.

Westbrook came off the bench to score 20 points along with 14 rebounds and 11 assists to complete the triple-double.

This season he is averaging 15.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 7.8 assists in 28.5 minutes per game.
