Erik Spoelstra had just nine players at his disposal for the game against the Heat and he lost one of them – Dewaye Dedmon – who was ejected for throwing a massage gun on the court after playing just 5 minutes.

Miami managed to survive the game with an eight-man rotation (Udonis Haslem did not play) and defeat the Thunder 112-111.

After the game Spoelstra was asked about the incident that led to Dedmon’s ejection. “That’s the Miami Heat,” he said. “We’re all a bunch of gnarly personalities. That part was unfortunate. Everything before that, that’s the Miami Heat. That part was unacceptable.”

This season Dedmon is averaging 6 points and 3.7 rebounds in 11.9 minutes per game.
