Lietuvos Rytas lost Marijonas Petravičius after he broke his foot. His foot will be kept in splint for at least 6 weeks. Petravičius was having the best season in his career this year. He is 12th in Euroleague in ranking with 18 ranking points per game. 28-year-old center averaged 13.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in Euroleague.
This is not the only loss in the forn line of Lietuvos Rytas. Matthew Nielsen is also unavailable. Although he should return in Top 16 and should be a boost for the team after recent injury problems. Rytas will have to play without two of their main big men against Fenerbahce on Thursday in Euroleague Top 16.
