Lakers sophomore Austin Reaves has earned his spot on the roster and gets to play significant minutes.

The Purpled and Gold fans express their support to the player by chanting ‘MVP.’ The 24-year-old shooting guard says he is aware of the chants and is appreciative of them.

“I definitely hear it,” Reaves said, per Mark Medina. “Obviously, the first thing that goes through my mind is ‘Don’t miss.’ You’d look like a loser if you miss. Obviously I’m not MVP. But to have their support and for them to show love the way they show love is special for me.”

Reaves is averaging 10.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 29.4 minutes per game this season.
