Jordan Poole took a spot on the starting lineup of the Warriors in absence of Steph Curry. He responded by dropping career-high 43 points, leading the Golden State past Toronto (126-110).

Dubs’ head coach Steve Kerr talked about the 23-year-old shooting guard and his performance against the Raptors, mentioning not only his offense, but also his defense.

“He’s played a lot of great games for us,” Kerr said postgame. “If it’s not the best, it’s definitely one of the few best. He was great at both ends. His defense was excellent. I thought he was patient offensively, got us into our offense well. He just set the tone. He just carried us.”

Poole is averaging 18.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 28.6 minutes per game this season.
