The Detroit Pistons point guard Cade Cunningham, who is the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, plans to have season-ending surgery on his left shin.
He is expected to make a full recovery ahead of training camp in 2023-2024. Cunningham averaged 19.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, and six assists in 12 games this season.
