Recently Draymond Green named the Celtics and Bucks as two teams that he keeps an eye on. The four-time NBA champion did not mention a single team from the Western Conference.

This prompted a question for sports analyst Stephen A. Smith who asked Green if that means that he is not concerned about the West. In response, he named two teams in the West – the Suns and Lakers.

“No, I’m not concerned about anybody in the West,” the Warriors forward said. “I think there are good teams in the West, good teams that you have to fear, have the appropriate fear as coach Carlisle always talks about. Phoenix is one of those teams.

“I’ve been telling everybody for two years now, I’m never counting the Lakers out. They got LeBron James, they got Anthony Davis, they got Russell Westbrook. I’m never counting them out.

“But I don’t worry about anybody in the West. I have appropriate fear and I know what teams are capable of, but I know if we play our A game, nobody’s beating us.”
