Lakers head coach Darvin Ham was visibly excited after his team defeated the Buck on the road (133-129), a team that he helped win a championship in 2021 as an assistant coach.
After the game LeBron James was giving a walk-off interview when Ham interrupted and screamed ‘They can’t stop the King’ referring to the superstar who scored 28 points, grabbed 8 assists and dished out 11 rebounds.
The four-time NBA champion smiled and said ‘That’s coach right there. We love him.’
Despite the big win, the Lakers are still below .500 with a 9-12 record and are facing an uphill battle to make it to the postseason.
