G League Ignite top standout Scoot Henderson will miss plenty of games on a day-to-day basis upon suffering a nose fracture, per team spokesperson Mara Rudolph.

Henderson was initially placed under concussion protocols and already missed G League’s last four games.

Henderson sustained the said injury back on Nov. 18 when the Ignite outlasted the Salt Lake City Stars. He posted six points and four boards prior to his exit.

For six games played, the 18-year-old Henderson is currently averaging 21.2 points, 5.8 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.7 steals in this G League season so far. He’s been on a tear while showcasing the talented skills he has as an admirable, young floor general.

Henderson stands as a top two prospect in the upcoming NBA Draft next year, battling the French wunderkind big man Victor Wembanyama for the prized top selection.

His unavailability for the past few games could have limited the NBA scouts and experts to assess him as a potential lottery pick next year. Nevertheless, the Ignite are still slated to play a 50-game schedule and there’s still plenty of basketball remaining for him to be observed.
