The Miami Heat are looking to move Duncan Robinson.

Sources told Michael Scotto of HoopsHype that the Heat have activated Robinson for trade talks upon the emergence of fellow swingmen Max Strus and Caleb Martin.

Robinson was once a significant piece of the Heat due to his trademark shooting, but his exposure under Erik Spoelstra gradually decreased starting last season.

This 2022-23 throughout 16 games played, the veteran is averaging a career low in points (6.3) since his rookie year to go with an inefficient 35.4 percent from the field and 30.6 percent from three. As noted by Scotto, he is set to earn $57.49MM over the next three seasons – which appears to be a massive overpay based on his performance alone.

With the Heat still looking to fill their gap at the four, Robinson is an undeniable candidate to be moved. But given his salary, the club may need to attach draft picks just to entice potential trade partners.
