The Warriors (5-8) lost 8th game this season as they were defeated by the Kings (6-6) on the road. Golden State is yet to win a road game this season.
“That’s crazy. That’s insane,” Draymond Green said postgame when told about his team’s 0-7 record at away games this season. “I just think you got to understand that your margin for error on the road is a lot less than it is at home.
“I think they had one at the end of the first quarter where they had a big run. I think they had a really big run midway through the second quarter to closeout the half. They had another big run to closeout the third quarter and then they had another big run to closeout the fourth quarter.
“So, just got to understand that your margin for error on the road in this league is way less if you want to win games. Just something that we got to figure out.”
