Superman has officially landed.

On Thursday night, former NBA superstar Dwight Howard arrived in Taiwan to start new beginnings in his hall-of-fame basketball endeavors.

As he entered the land of the building of the Taoyuan International Airport, Howard was given a huge fanfare and reception by Taiwanese fans. The veteran big man signed some autographs, posed for some photos, and greeted the locals with a massive grin on his face.

Howard will take his first official podium as a T1 League’s Taoyuan Leopards member on Saturday before the club starts its initial workout for the upcoming season.

According to numerous reports, he is slated to amass an annual salary of over $1 million from the Leopards, a historical figure in league history.

The 36-year-old center previously played his third stint for the Los Angeles Lakers in the last 2021-22 season.
