Marcin Gortat is ready for one last hoorah.

The Washington Wizards big man has confirmed that he will play for the Polish national side at Eurobasket this summer.

But the 31-year-old Gortat also said that this will be his last appearance for the national team.

The news was confirmed on Twitter by Washington Wizards beat writer Jorge Castillo last night.

Lodz-born Gortat has averaged 13.2 points a game for the Wizards this season and has been a regular figure for the Poland national side since Eurobasket 2009 when they hosted the event.

Poland are based in Montpellier at Eurobasket, when they face-off with hosts France, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Israel, Russia and Finland.
