Brooklyn Nets point forward Ben Simmons had an MRI on his left knee this week that came back clean, sources told ESPN’s Nick Friedell. He has been dealing with some soreness and underwent knee draining.

Due to the said injury, Simmons has been absent for the Nets since their Oct. 29 matchup against the Indiana Pacers.

Simmons didn’t join the Nets’ on their road trip this Friday against the Wizards and on Saturday vs. Charlotte Hornets. This marks that he won’t be available for four-straight games.

The Aussie cager is averaging 6.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 7.3 assists so far and has been working his way to regaining his old form.
