When the Jazz traded their two stars – Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell – this offseason, it was expected that more of the veteran players would follow suit.

That was the case to an extent as Patrick Beverley and Bojan Bogdanovic were sent to other teams. However, Utah kept Jordan Clarkson who was thought to be the next in line to be moved.

Now it seems that the Jazz is willing to hang on to the 30-year-old point guard. Zach Lowe of ESPN says that Utah is ‘super reluctant’ to let him go.

If NBA insider Zach Lowe’s latest report is true, Utah Jazz fans can take a big sigh of relief on the Jordan Clarkson front. The senior ESPN writer reported that the Jazz are most likely going to keep former Sixth Man of the Year. “I’ve heard the same stuff that other people have reported that they are just super reluctant to move Clarkson,” Lowe said. “They’re really fond of him for whatever reason so I would peg him as the least likely of all these Jazz guys to get traded.”

This season Clarkson is averaging 18.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists in 31.6 minutes per game for the Jazz.
