Ja Morant is one of the best young players in the NBA. His exceptional athleticism as a point guard has drawn comparisons to Russell Westbrook, but Kevin Durant sees no player like the Grizzlies star.
According to him, the 23-year-old point guard is a unique player who is doing unique things on the court that cannot be compared to other players.
“Nobody really,” KD said when asked who Morant reminds him of, per Brian Lewis of New York Post. “He’s a unique player. Lot of athleticism and creativity…He’s taller than (Allen Iverson) but very strong player. But he’s an incredible player, just doing some stuff that we’ve never seen before.”
Over the three games this season Morant is averaging 34.3 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists in 33 minutes per game.
