Portland Trail Blazers big man Olivier Sarr will be sidelined for six weeks after sustaining a high-grade partial tear of the scapholunate ligament in his right wrist, the team announced on Friday.

Sarr gained the injury during the Blazers’ preseason match against the Golden State Warriors on Oct. 11. Originally, the injury was listed as a right wrist sprain, but further testing presented a much severe condition.

Sarr was signed by Portland on a two-way deal prior to this season.
