According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the Detroit Pistons will likely waive four-time All-Star Kemba Walker before Monday’s deadline to set the regular-season roster. The move will bring Detroit’s roster to 15 guaranteed spots.
Walker averaged 11.6 PPG and 3.5 APG on .403/.367/.845 shooting in 37 games (25.6 MPG) last season for the New York Knicks and was a liability on defense.
