The Las Vegas Aces took home the 2022 WNBA title last weekend, defeating the Connecticut Sun 3 games to 1. This historic group of women stacked up the awards during the season, and you just knew a championship would ultimately come along with it. Becky Hammon won Coach of the Year, A’ja Wilson earned league MVP & Defensive Player of the Year, Kelsey Plum was All WNBA First Team & the All Star Game MVP, Chelsea Gray received Finals MVP, Jackie Young achieved Most Improved Player, and Dearica Hamby made the All Star team. Quite the season if you ask me.
