Apparently, the 2021-2022 season could be the last for Ime Udoka and the Boston Celtics.

From the sources within the Celtics brass, Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix relayed that there were no guarantees handed to head coach Udoka if he’ll be brought back after serving his long suspension.

Udoka is set to comply with the sanction slapped by Boston, wherein he’ll be shelved for the whole 2022-2023 season due to his improper consensual relationship with the team’s female member of the staff.

Both Udoka and the Celtics enjoyed a fruitful finish in their first partnership last season, wherein they were just two wins away from clinching the highly coveted 18th banner of the franchise.
