Austin Reaves is one of those players that made it to the NBA against all the odds and became an important player. After going undrafted the 24-year-old shooting guard was picked by no other team but the Lakers.

Right from the start of his professional career he was on a team with three superstars in LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook. Speaking about himself the former Oklahoma Sooner admits that he is not exactly the type of player that one expect to be in the position that he is in right now.

“I definitely don’t pass the eye test and I’m not the most athletic in the world, but I’ve figured it out so far,” Reaves told Shams Charania.

Reaves averaged 7.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 23.2 minutes per game during his rookie season with the Lakers.
