Anthony Edwards’ recent anti-gay remarks are now under the league’s investigative lens.

According to Chris Hine of Star Tribune, the NBA is now reviewing the incident to see if there will be a punishment that can be handed against Edwards.

The likes of Nikola Jokic, Kevin Durant and Rajon Rondo were slapped by disciplinary punishments from the league due to their homophobic languages from the past. As such, it can now be assumed that Edwards is set to face his own penalty soon.

The Minnesota Timberwolves star faced public outcry after posting an Instagram story, wherein he called a group of men as “queer a*s n****s” in a derogatory manner.

Edwards deleted the clip and quickly apologized for the unfair treatment he gave. Meanwhile, Minnesota’s lead front office executive Tim Connelly also expressed a regretful statement on the incident.
