Both Maxi Kleber and the Dallas Mavericks have mutually agreed on a three-year, $33 million extension (sources told The Athletic’s Shams Charania). The said deal is already on the finalization process.

As noted by Charania, Kleber is set to enter a contract year this upcoming 2022-2023 season. But with the recent transaction of both sides, his service will be extended through 2025-2026 campaign.

Kleber tallied 7.0 points, 5.9 boards, 1.2 dimes in 39.8 percent efficiency from the field (59 games) last season, serving as a reliable big man who got a much-needed shooting touch around franchise superstar Luka Doncic.
