The Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson, who was diagnosed with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) after a preseason physical for his team in 1991, just shot down a rumor claiming he recently donated blood.
“I’m aware of the false story circling the internet,” the 63-year-old said, “and to be clear, I have never donated blood.”
