This year’s number one draft pick Paolo Banchero had another big game in Summer League. The 19-year-old forward led the Magic to a double-overtime win over the Kings with 23 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals.
His performance was noticed by Draymond Green. The four-time NBA champion took to Twitter to react saying that although summer league is not the best indicator, still in can be seen that Banchero “gets it.”
“Y’all overreact to summer league too often…. Nonetheless, Paolo gets it. He has winning ways…” he tweeted.
