According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, star guard John Wall is planning to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers once he clears waivers.

In a buyout agreement between John Wall and the Houston Rockets, Wall is expected to give back around $6.5 million of his $47.4 million player option… in a no-income tax state.

Wall’s last game was April 23, 2021 (450 days ago) against the Clippers. Five-time NBA All-Star has made over $124 million for 40 games of play over the last three seasons.

Houston trims the roster down to 18 guaranteed contracts after the John Wall buyout. $30 million below the luxury tax and plenty of options either in the trade market or free agency this offseason.
