Game 4 of the NBA Finals was a close one. At the start of the fourth quarter the Warriors held a one-point lead over the Celtics, but the visitors were better during the final period, winning by 9 points and taking the win (107-97).
According to Jayson Tatum, who scored team-high 23 points for Boston, his everybody on the team got too stagnant late in the fourth quarter which led to the loss.
“You got to give [the Warriors] credit, they played well, hit some big shots, things like that,” the 24-year-old forward said. “We obviously felt like we had put ourselves in a position to win the game.
“There’s a lot of things that we wish we’d have done differently, especially on the offensive end I think we just got way too stagnant late in the fourth from everybody. But, it’s a new series best of three. Get some sleep and get on this long ass flight tomorrow.”
