New Orleans Pelicans’ Brandon Ingram is set to take a six to eight weeks of recovery after taking a finger surgery.
Per the team’s announcement, Ingram had a successful medical procedure to address a flexion contracture on his right fifth finger.
Given the length of recovery and the current events in the league, Ingram can take a full rest and be activated on the team’s September training camp for the 2022-2023 campaign.
The star swingman had a wonderful season taking the squad’s first option seat upon the absence of Zion Williamson due to a foot injury, averaging 22.7 points, 5.8 boards, 5.6 dimes on 46 percent shooting while leading NOLA to the playoffs for the second time in four years.
