The Boston Celtics torched the Miami Heat early and evened the series with a 102-82 blowout in the Eastern Conference Finals on Monday. Jayson Tatum scored 31 points, eight rebounds and five assists, Payton Pritchard added 14 points for the Celtics. On the other hand, Victor Oladipo led the Heat with 23 points and six assists off the bench. Game 5 is on Wednesday in Miami.

Following a solid win over the Heat on Monday at TD Garden, the Celtics player Derrick White (13 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals) shared his thoughts on joining Boston in the middle of the season: “You kind of get thrown in the middle of the year … but the team has done a great job telling me ‘just be you.'”
