There was a lot of trash talking directed at the Slovenian superstar in Game 5 which was won by Phoenix by 30 points. He was asked whether it affects his attitude and motivation.
“I like when people trash talk to me,” Doncic said postgame. “It gets me going. It’s fun. It’s basketball, there’s going to be a lot of trash talking. I like it, it’s fun for me. It’s competitive basketball and I like it. It’s fun for me.”
