Following a disappointing season, the Jazz will have to decide on what direction direction to take for next season. The main question is related to the future of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert.

Both players are under long-term contracts but could be moved if the team decides to make major changes or if the players ask to be traded.

According to NBA insider Brian Windhorst, the Hawks is the team that makes most sense for Gobert who is under contract until 2026. His last year is a player option.

“I think Pascal Siakam potentially could be available for the right trade. I don’t know if it’s for Rudy Gobert, though,” Windhorst said on The Hoop Collective podcast, per HoopsHype.

“To me the team that makes the most sense is Atlanta. Because their defense is horrific, it’s holding them back. Trae Young has got to get better defensively. We understand he’s not going to be Gary Payton, but he has to improve, he’s got to try.”
