The Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry, who sprained a ligament in his left foot and sustained a bone bruise on March 16 vs. the Boston Celtics, is expected to play in Game 1 of his team’s first-round series against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night.

“Everything has gone really well, so we expect him to play,” the Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said, via San Francisco Chronicle. “We’ll see how he’s feeling (Saturday) … The only thing I’ll say is, he’s not playing 38 minutes. I’m not going to give you a number, because there are some variables. We’re planning on playing him if everything goes well, and bring him along slowly from there.”
