According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the New Orleans Pelicans point guard Jose Alvarado is joining the Puerto Rico men’s national team.
Alvarado has emerged as a key rotation player for the Pelicans and will now play Team USA in the World Cup basketball qualifiers this summer.
