Lakers’ forward Wayne Ellington has been fined $20,000 for ‘escalating the incident with a threatening comment on social media postgame’ after he tweeted to Facundo Campazzo in response to the Nuggets point guard shoving him in season finale.
For his part, Campazzo was suspended for a single game and will miss the Game 1 of the first round series against the Warriors.
