After taking the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference by beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-108 on Tuesday night in the play-in opener, the Brooklyn Nets star guard Kyrie Irving, who is a Muslim, shared his thoughts about playing during Ramadan:
“It’s a blessing to be able to do it and still be able to perform. It’s not easy by any stretch of imagination. You can’t really take any moment for granted during the day.”
