It has been a disappointing season for the Lakers relative to the expectations that they had before it started. The decision to blow up the team and keep only three players from last year has backfired.

But Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal thinks that another revamp of the roster is in order. According to him, Los Angeles should move every player except for LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

“We got to get rid of the expiring contracts, we got to get rid of the projects that didn’t work and we got to try to get younger and more athletic around LeBron,” Shaq said.

“Because paper wise when everybody did the deals ‘Ooh Westbrook, ooh this that.’ Age is a factor. AD was hurt all year. I think he played last May. Got to keep him healthy. Still keep LeBron and AD and make moves for everybody else.”
